I let Simon (along with Garfunkel & Harriet the hamster) outside and took some videos of them that I'll be sharing on this blog in the coming weeks.

This first video of Simon inspecting things behind the house. Check It Out:

Don't forget to REGISTER TO VOTE! We can't afford 4 more years of George W. Bush's policies (John McCain.) Vote For Real Change.

The Defenders of Wildlife Fund created this video on Sarah Palin's record on aerial wolf hunting. I know this isn't directly related to cats but I think all animal lovers should know just how evil this woman, Sarah Palin, really is.

She's someone that no animal lover should want anywhere near the White House. Please register to vote and donate to Barack Obama to make sure she stays in Alaska where she can't hurt the rest of America.

OK, not exactly. But this is close enough for government work:

Garfunkel wants to remind you to REGISTER TO VOTE!

Both Simon & Garfunkel are strong supporters of Obama/Biden, mainly because Sarah Palin hates cats but also because even they are concerned about the sorry state of the economy! And even they are smart enough not to vote for another 4 years of the same policies that got us into this mess (McCain has the exact same policies as Bush.)

We got Garfunkel & Simon a live catnip plant yesterday and they seem to like it but Garfunkel is a bit more interested in it:

Simon Sticking His Tongue Out

Don't forget to REGISTER TO VOTE for the 2008 US elections. Do it soon! A lot of states registration deadlines are fast approaching.

And remember SARAH PALIN HATES CATS! (And even more importantly she LIES about everything.)

I took a lot of pictures of Simon & Garfunkel (and Chloe the dog) on our little trip outside the other day. This is one of my favorites (although I'm not sure why.)

Another great feature of being out "in the country" is how we can take our cats outside to play in nature without it being a 7 block walk to the park.

We still keep them on a leash when we take them out because we don't want them to run into the forest to get eaten by a wolf or something like that.

These photos were taken outside here at our new home:

It's not too often this happens so when I saw it yesterday I had to snap a picture quick:

We've definitely come a long way from when Garfunkel first arrived and they wouldn't stop hissing and fighting with each other.

I haven't posted about politics before on this blog (since it is about cats, after all) but I couldn't help but pass along this nugget: Sarah Palin Hates Cats.

Are you going to trust someone that hates cats? I've always been suspicious of cat haters.

Check out what Sarah Palin's best friends say about her:

It's pretty interesting that out of Palin's 6 best friends only one of them will commit to voting for her. That says a lot.

Also: check out this letter written about Sarah Palin by a resident of her small town (Wasilla, Alaska.)

One of the things the cats definitely like about the new place is the fact that they have stairs to play on now. They enjoy running up and down the stairs and taking naps on the stairs as well.

Check Simon out:

One of the exciting things for Simon & Garfunkel here in Virginia is that they now have a dog "friend" named Chloe.

This is a picture Chloe the dog from less than 15 minutes ago out in the yard:

Another pic of Simon in our new place. The cats definitely seem to like it here more than living in the city. There's more room here and more variety in places to nap.
