My oldest cat, Shady, who's 21, loves to play with the donut with the ping pong ball inside. She doesn't like scratching posts too much because she pulled one over on herself once and has avoided most of them since (to my furniture's detriment). She also likes the pole with the dangling elastic streamers.

Chloe, 8, is afraid of the dangling streamers and couldn't care less about chasing a ball around a plastic donut. She does, however, go nuts over my daughters string thongs. It's as though she thinks they're just for her. She bats and twists and turns and chases - a pair of thongs. No cat toys for her. Go figure.
