We got some fresh catnip for Simon for the first time. I got it from the market at Union Square in Manhattan. I was somewhat worried he wouldn't care too much about it as we have recently got him some catnip spray that was hyped up but he didn't really respond to. But I had no reason to be concerned because he LOVED the fresh catnip. We have a lot more left but I try to give it to him just every couple of days so that he doesn't grow bored of it.

I took some photos of his first experiences with fresh catnip. He was moving around so fast because he was so excited that the pictures make him (especially his face) look a little blurry. I was going to videotape it but I ran out of batteries right as I was taping! Next time I'll tape him because he puts on quite a show with the fresh catnip.
