Rose has crabs! (HERMIT CRABS that is.) She sent in these photos of her crabs. My Crab Wears Clothes? (go to the "Crab Forum" to learn more)

This crab is a patriot! (My Country Is A Bee! ?)

Rose included this message with her crab photos:
Supposedly the main reason they die in captivity is not enough humidity or water. They don't live in water, but in very humid conditions. So, every Saturday they get a "bath" in warm water in my casserole dish. I call it CRAB CASSEROLE! I find them very fascinating, and contrary to popular belief and what their name implies....they are not hermits, but very social creatures living in big groups.
