Big Ben

Flying through the air with the greatest of ease,
My brother catapulted his bowl of peas.
looking like meteors, round and green,
I watched them bounce off the window screen.
Then splatting on the counter, or jumping to the floor,
the survivors started heading for the door.
"Oh,no!", I said with a sense of doom,
"If Mom sees this, we'll get the broom"!
As if he heard, here came the cat.
Ben was his name , all big and fat.
He ate every pea, and cleaned the bowl too.
Best part of it is that Mom never knew!
Now every time we have food that we spite,
we simply don't eat it; we put it in flight!
Accross the room, again and again.
Then when we're done we give it to Ben.
